The project to reconstruct the intersection of Route 531 at Washington will begin in earnest on Wednesday, April 5. Tree removal in the right-of-way is the first step. Crews will begin on the south side of Route 31 in the Towns of Sweden and Ogden between Gallup and Hubbell Road and also on Washington Street. The tree removal is expected to take about four weeks.
