Handicapped Parking Permit

Issued immediately upon receipt of completed application
Requirements:
Forms may be obtained from any Town Clerk’s Office and must be completed by the applicant and his/her physician. The applicant should include their driver's license number on the application.
The permit must be signed by a Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or Podiatrist (DPM) and once signed, should be submitted to the Town Clerk in the Town where the applicant lives.
The permit may be red which is in effect for up to a six month time period or blue which is in effect anywhere from one year to five years maximum.
The permit is valid in New York State and is recognized by most states.
